SORNSON, Redge A.

Redge A. Sornson Apr 16, 1962 – Nov 19, 2016 Redge Aaron Sornson was born on April 16, 1962 in Iowa City, Iowa, to Hal and Wanda (Jensen) Sornson. He passed away on November 17, 2016 at the age of 54. When Redge was five years old, the family moved to Omaha, NE, where Redge attended school through high school. Throughout his life, Redge had several occupations; for the past several years, he was an electrician with an Omaha electrical company. His favorite pastime was playing his guitar. He built and repaired guitars and played with a small informal group of musicians. Redge also dearly loved riding his BMW motorcycle and would ride to rallies with friends. Redge’s favorite childhood memory was of spending time on the farm of his grandparents, Harvey and Dagmar Sornson in Audubon County, Iowa. Redge is survived by his father, Hal, and his mother, Wanda; sisters, Amy Harden (Scott) and Kristin Carnaby (Dave); his beloved cat, Delilah; many relatives and friends. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, Nov. 26th at 2pm, followed by fellowship, all at the Bel Air Chapel. Interment in Kimballton, Iowa. Memorials to the Nebraska Humane Society, Siena/Francis House Men’s Shelter, the Danish Windmill in Elkhorn, IA, or Anxiety and Depression Society of America.
