Terrance D. Diggins Sr.

Terrance Dominic Diggins Sr., age 66, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away at his home Friday, September 7, 2012. Terrance was born October 21, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska to James and Margaret (Loftus) Diggins. He graduated from the Magnolia High School. Terrance served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was married to Sharon Nielsen December 2, 1966 in Papillion, Nebraska and she passed away April 2, 2000. Terrance was a member of the FOE Eagles, and he enjoyed playing pitch and reading. Survivors include his mother: Margaret Diggins of Magnolia, Iowa; sons: Douglas Diggins and wife Lori of Nebraska City, Nebraska; Terry Diggins Jr. and wife Donna of Omaha, Nebraska; Eric Diggins and wife Kristy of Weeping Water, Nebraska; Shaylene Diggins of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Maureen Hutcheson and husband H. L. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Patricia Diggins and husband Ken Dunham of Dunlap, Iowa; Kathleen Diggins-Kane and husband Brian of Broome, Australia; Mary Ann Zephier and husband Dave of Magnolia, Iowa; brothers: James Diggins and wife Lori of Blair, Nebraska; William Diggins and wife Morgan of Orano, Maine; Michael Diggins of Magnolia, Iowa. Terrance was preceded in death by his father James, wife Sharon, son Adam in 1976, brother Brian. A Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. Monday with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa. Military Honors by the VFW Post 6256 and O’Hara Seeley Post.
