James Austin Timmins Nov 1, 1928 Apr 16, 2016 Age 87; died at his home in Omaha with his family by his side. James was preceded in death by his daughter, Jean Marie Bertino, and sister, Rita Beutel. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Timmins; sons and spouses: Michael and Katherine Timmins of Lincoln, NE, Patrick and Jennifer Timmins, Richard and Pamela Timmins, all of Omaha; son-in-law, John Bertino and wife Jennifer, of Omaha; 18 grandchildren: Joe, Tim, and Sam Bertino, James, Nick, Nate, Michaela, Henry, John, Helen, George, Will, Sophie, Marianne, Malorie, David, Mark, and Laura Timmins; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 20th, from 6pm to 7:30pm, with VIGIL SERVICE to follow at 7:30pm, all at Holy Cross Catholic Church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Thursday, April 21st at 10:30am, Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors by American Legion Post #1. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Catholic Church or VNA Hospice.
