Trudy Pitt, age 69, of Logan, Iowa, passed away on January 11, 2016 at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Trudy was born on September 28, 1946 to her parents Cletas and Ercal (Stowers) LeBarge. Trudy had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. Guests who crossed her threshold never left hungry. She was a wonderful cook especially baking, her specialties being homemade buns, chocolate chip cookies, and brownies from scratch. She was known for her beautiful flowers every spring. She enjoyed going to the casino and taking road trips with Fred, driving to South Dakota for a weekend at the Spearfish Canyon Lodge or to Prairie Band to try their luck in the Casino. She was a true friend to many. But her decades long friendship with The Nancys Harvey and Frazier was special. The three of them met weekly for lunch for 34 years. Trudy loved her family above all else. She truly enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids at their various activities whether it be athletics or singing. She was the ultimate cheerleader. Trudy is preceded in death by her parents Cletas and Ercal LeBarge. Survivors include her husband: Fred Pitt, children: Dion Pitt and wife Sheila, Blake Pitt, Matt Pitt and wife Shana, Chad Pitt and wife Marcia all of Logan, Iowa, sister: Jeannie Bergantzel, brother: Roy LeBarge and wife Betty, grandchildren: Jared, Ethan, Owen, Lane, Levi, Ty, Rachel, Daltyn, and Malynn.
