KAY-William A., age 82. Preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Esther Kay; brother, Robert; beloved wife, Mary Anne; son, James W. Survived by daughter, Christine Metry; son-in-law, Victor Metry; grandsons, Christopher Metry and Hunter Metry; daughter-in-law, Darice Kay; granddaughter, Michalla Schmoelcer; great-grandson, Ian James Schmoelcer; grandson, Michael Kay; great-grandson, Alexander Kay; sister, Norma Oldehoff. Bill Kay was a star football player at the University of Iowa, an All Star and signed to play professionally for the New York Giants. He was also for over 50 years, a member of the Masonic Order and the Grand Commandery Knights Templar. The family of Bill Kay gratefully acknowledges the loving care provied by the staff at the Nebraska Skilled Nursing/Rehab as well as the wonderful personnell of the VNA. Memorial Services Saturday June 2nd 1pm at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 18th & Capital. Interment at the Columbarium in Trinity Cathedral. Memorials to Trinity Episcopal Cathedral or the Omaha Humane Society. No Visitation.
