Survived by children and spouses: Jim McDonnell (Sandy), Mary Lavelle (Earl), Bernadette Gehrki (Bernard), Kathleen Gruber (Larry), Bridget Sorys (Dave), Maureen Quinlan (Tom), Michael McDonnell (Amy), John McDonnell (Leslie); brothers: Jim McDonnell and wife Donna, Paul McDonnell and wife Joan; sisters: Helen McDonnell, Rita Zadalis and husband Jim; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; dear friend, Jeanette Ferris. The family will receive friends Thursday, 4pm to 7pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Friday, 10:30am, St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military rites by Benson VFW Post 2503.
