Long-time Dundee resident; American Legion member for 61 years; founding member of the Bridge Club at St. Cecilia Cathedral; member, Masters Swimming Program; competed in Nebr. Senior Games and won many medals in his age group. Preceded in death by wife, Frances Schroen. Survived by son, Bill Schroen and partner, Dori Kojima, grandson, Bill, all of Oakland, CA; caregiver, Jean Smith; 2 nieces, 1 nephew; 3 cousins. Vigil Service Friday, 7:00 p.m., West Center Chapel. Services Saturday, 10:00 a.m., West Center Chapel to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with full military honors by Benson VFW Post 2503. Visitation from 4:00 p.m. Friday, with family receiving friends 4:30-8:00 p.m. at the West Center Chapel
