Kelley I am truly sorry to hear this news. I want to thank you for being one of the people who helped make me feel safe and wanted in the music scene. We didn’t talk much in later years but when we did, you were always so kind to me and your enthusiasm for your music was infectious. You were one of my original heroes in many bands you played in. I loved how you always played with heart and soul. It was I inspiring and meant the world. Please be at peace my friend. You will always be missed. Love and care brother. RIP.

I’ll sure miss you man, you were always a cool friend. Rest in peace buddy. 😞
We had the death of punk in Sioux City and my friend Richie Vomit was trying to do a benefit for that guy’s family and was looking for bands. I put him in touch with Kelley and Danny and those guys were so gracious and cool to help Richie and really formed a bond and connection with Richie. Speaking for Richie Vomit, Kaitlyn, myself and others from the Sioux City punk crew, we are all deeply saddened by this and our hearts go out to Kelley’s family, friends, and the Omaha crew.
I am so sorry to hear of Kelley’s passing. My sincere condolences to the family.
To my dear sweet nephew and the cutest Baby I ever seen. I will also love you and miss you. I hope you and Adam are up there Cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs! Until we are all together again. Love You
RIP Kelley 🙏🏻🙏🏻🤘🏻😓
Kelley was a great guy and will truly be missed at the post office. We worked together for several years. We talked frequently about music, football, and tattoos. He was a very funny guy and made me laugh at least once every day. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Peace and love to you and your family always.
Kelley was a very kind, gregarious person. I will miss him! He was always willing to step out of crowd to greet people. Quick to acknowledge others’ contributions. This was a generous skill of his in a large scene where some did not always get their due. I will miss our music talks. He had such a spazzy, youthful way when he was excited about music or a project—a trait that I remember from our younger years. His enthusiasm was still there the last time I saw him…about a year ago. Peace and love to his family and family of friends.
My thoughts with his family, friends and band mates. Got to share many great times and some of the best shows I’ve seen with Kelley! He could always bring the thunder, he will be missed.
Kelley was one of the funnest guys to be around. He was one of the first people I met when I came to Omaha and he made such an impression on me. So many great memories. . I will miss his laugh and music. Rest my friend.
Rest in peace Kelley. I always looked up to you. You meant so much to so many of us. You made the punk scene a fun and welcoming place.
Having a real hard time believing this my friend….haven’t spoken in a few years but glad we kept in touch for so long after I left town at least. You were always there for me when I was down & out…often….and man did we have some good times in Nuns days, and flying up to Dogmont with a trunk full of Zimas….blasting some Poison Idea & Rik L Rik all the way, haha! So many fun Skaffa trips too man….Okoboji was a real nutty one! Thanks for letting me move in for awhile that Summer when I had all them food stamps too ha….having some “Catholic Girl” issues at the time and you kept me straight and laughing the whole time brother! Hope to see you again on the other side….probably sooner than we think! Rest Easy my good, good friend from way back….you have earned it big time!
Kelley will be much missed – he is a giant of Omaha music
Rest in peace
Last Thursday was one of the saddest days of my life. Kelley is a gracious, loving soul. I would really only get to see him once a year when I came back from Texas. He would recall times from 85 and the shows we were at, but didn’t really know each other until a few years after that. His enthusiasm and spirit are a true blessing to everyone(almost) he ever met, and Omahardcore has undeniably lost a legend in Kelley. I grieve for his family, and hope Bella is able to grasp this and find peace. I know Kelley was so proud of her, the musical genius she had become. It is with my most sincere regrets I am unable to be there tonight to say farewell.
Rest In Punk Kelley,
Doug Hahn
I’m heartbroken. Love and strength to Kelley’s family, friends, and band mates.
