Ruth Beers was my grandma for 41 years and played a pivotal role in my upbringing from the time I was a baby. She would help me with my homework, teach me about faith, cook for me, watch cubs games with me and most importantly….love me. That didn’t change as I got older. When I joined the Army and was stationed all over the world….her letters of love found me no matter where I was. Until the day she psssed she still preached about the importance of
faith. My grandma and grandpa’s faith never wavered and it has allowed them eternal peace with each other. I know they are taking care of all loved ones who preceded them in death. Grandma, I’m glad your home and can’t wait to crack a cold one on the other side. Thank you and I love you.

Dan Dan the beer can man

and she would stay on me about the importance of
    believing.

Condolences to your family. I will always remember your Mom’s kindness toward me when we were kids playing in the neighborhood.

I am so lucky to have had the honor of calling this beautiful woman Grandma Beers for the past 8 years. Her stong faith and unmatchable wit were an unbeatable combination. You have made an indelible imprint on my heart and I will cherish the memories of you always (especially the ones of you teasing Dan Dan the Beer Can Man with me). xoxo
