Adam Soll, son of Malia Hansen and Allen Soll was born on September 14, 1980 in Manning Iowa.  He spent the first years of his life in Aspinwall, Iowa later moving with his family to Tekamah Nebraska. He graduated from Tekamah – Herman High School with the class of 1999.

Adam attended Iowa State University, University of Omaha and Mesa Community College.  He worked for Dial America in Omaha and Tempe, Arizona as a supervisor.

Adam was a true lover of sports of all kinds and was a life-long fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes. His memory of sports information was extraordinary. He never let his physical struggles get him down. With his intelligence, quick wit and love of lively conversation he made many friends over the years and was loved by everyone who knew him. He will always be remembered for his kindness toward others.

Adam moved to Ambassador Health in Lincoln, Nebraska in January 2018 and quickly became a favorite of the staff while always keeping them on their toes.

Following hospitalization at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha on April 3, 2019, he passed away there on May 3, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard Hansen, Roy and Ruth Soll.

He is survived by his mother, Malia Hansen and her life partner Mark Hutchins of Omaha, Nebraska; father, Allen Soll and his wife Sue Blake of Tekamah, Nebraska; brother, Evan Soll of Omaha, Nebraska; grandmother, Marilyn Hansen of Manning, Iowa; aunts and uncles: Doug and Sharon Hansen of Omaha, Nebraska, Kristin Hansen and Lyn Swing of Coon Rapids, Iowa, Kyle and Deb Hansen of Templeton, Iowa, Jim and Charlotte Soll of Audubon, Iowa; loving dogs, Charlie and Rosie as well as many friends and relatives.

Family will receive friends: Saturday, May 11th, from 1pm to 3pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 3pm, all at Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler, West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Rd. Private Interment. Memorials may be directed to the family.

    So very sorry to hear of Adam’s passing. Jesse and I both worked with Adam for many years. He and Jesse loved talking sports, and he and I talked conspiracy theories. We always had a laugh, he was so intelligent and definitely one of the brightest stars to pass through our lives. Our thoughts are with his family and we are ever grateful to have met such a wonderful person.
