William R. “Bill” Stoner

December 19, 1933 – July 28, 2021

Devoted husband to Mary for 61 years.  Forty-eight and a half years of service with Western Electric and active member of Mary Our Queen Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Ruby Mae Stoner; brothers, Harve, Harland, Earl and Robert Stoner; sisters, Berdean West and Eula Seybert.  Survived by wife, Mary; children: Gregory Stoner (Shelly), Suzanne Pieper (Mark), Lisa Whorley (Rob); grandchildren: Sean Stoner (Laura), Sarah Stoner, Alex and Emily Pieper, Brett and Laura Whorley; two great-grandchildren, Lydia and Murray Stoner; brother, Lyle “Fritz” Stoner; sister, Lois Ebert.

VIGIL SERVICE: Sunday, August 1st at 7pm at West Center Chapel with family receiving friends from 5pm to 7pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Monday, August 2nd at 10:30am at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church.  Interment: Voss Mohr with full military honors.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I remember the fun times we had at the family reunions at the farm and at Grandpa West’s in Unadilla. My heartfelt sympathy for the family.
