He is survived by his wife, Darlene L.; son, Dean E. Anderson Jr. (Anna); daughter, Kristi Rooney (Mike); daughter-in-law, Janet Szemplenski; 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Anderson Szemplenski; siblings, Herman, Lanny, Mitchell, Norma and Norman; infant brother, Dewitt.

VISITATION: Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 5:30-7:30pm, West Center Chapel. SERVICE: Friday, April 28, 2023, 10:30am, Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church, 2650 Farnam Street. Interment: Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church. To view the livestream of the service, click live-stream on our home page.
