VISITATION: Monday, October 18th from 9:30am to 10:30am followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10:30am, all at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th Street.  Entombment: Calvary Mausoleum II.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Pro-Life.

Jeanette Clifford, age 85.  Jeanette was born February 3, 1936, to Fredrick and Patricia (Buckley) Hoffmann on a farm near Panama, Iowa.  She attended St. Mary’s School in Panama, graduating in 1953.  After high school Jeanette enrolled in Comptometer School in Omaha, Nebraska.  From there she began her career at Wilson Foods in the payroll department where she was employed for 21 years.  After Wilson Foods closed, she was employed at Titan Transfer and United AG, retiring in 1998.

Jeanette was introduced to Mark Clifford by a coworker at Wilson Foods.  On August 23, 1958, they were joined in marriage at St. Mary’s Church in Panama.  They enjoyed 62 years together before Mark’s death on November 26, 2020.  They touched many lives with their generosity and kindness as a team.  You can’t say one name without including the other.

She was preceded in death by husband; parents; brother, Norbert Hoffmann. sisters, Mary Ann Keane and Donna Mahlberg.  She is survived by brother, David Hoffmann (Ruth); sister, Jean Stinn (Allan); many nieces, nephews, and friends.

      The Lord will be waiting to welcome Jeanette ! Sorry to hear about your loss . Mark and Jeanette are together again . I only have warm and thankful feelings from Jeanette and Mark .
