Agnes E. Orcutt

Feb 12, 1908 – Mar 16, 2017

Age 109 years. Agnes was a remarkable woman. As a Catholic, she was totally committed to her faith, loving and dedicating her life to God. The Rosary was her constant companion. She maintained a very positive and hopeful attitude, always ready to meet new friends and to enjoy the next phase in her life. Her memory was incredible; she constantly surprised her grandchildren by recalling events in their early years.  Also, she was interested in their many activities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Orcutt; daughter, Jean Follrath; grandson, Douglas Orcutt; parents, B. J and Anna Kopecky; siblings: Steve, Hattie, Rudy, Anna, and Joseph.  She is survived by her son, Ronald Orcutt (Bonnie); daughter, Joan O’Keefe (Thomas), twin sister of Jean; sister, Marie Johnson; grandchildren: Susan Cox (Mark) and twin sons Jeff (Allie) and Jon; David Orcutt (Amy) and children Elly, Harry, Joey, Claire and Sam; Lori Rosebrough (David) and children Christopher, Madeline and Olivia; Ann King (Howard) and son Wesley; Michael Follrath (Loryn) and children, twins Gracyn and Joseph, and John; Theresa Gart (Myles) and children Hannah, Ethan, Sophie and Isaac; Colleen Thakor (Michael) and son Thomas; Joseph O’Keefe (Lori) and children McKenna, Callahan, Brennan, Delaney, Brogan, Gabriel and Cecilia; Daniel O’Keefe (Shannon) and children Siobhan, Lachlan and Finn.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 19th from 2pm to 4pm, with VIGIL SERVICE at 4pm at the Bel Air Chapel.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Monday, March 20th at 10:30am at New Cassel Retirement Center, 900 No. 90th St.  Interment, Calvary Cemetery.  For memorials, the family prefers Masses or donations to St. Peter Catholic Church or New Cassel Retirement Center.

    Condolences to the family. Although we hadn’t seen Aunt Agnes for many years, she was a great addition to our family and we loved her very much. Many of my childhood memories in Omaha were of our visits with her and uncle Johnny,
