Albert E. “Smokey” Quandt

QUANDT, Albert E. “Smokey” Apr 14, 1927 – Nov 21, 2013 Devoted husband and father. Survived by wife of 63 years, Elaine; sons: David (Carol), Steven (Christine), Roger (Dacia), Thomas (Renee), and Brian (Lori); 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters: Shirley Milhoun, Donna Dragoun, and Patty Variano; numerous nieces and nephews. Smokey was a Navy Seabee in the Pacific during World War II, and an over-the-road truck driver for more than forty years. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 24th from 3pm to 5pm with VIGIL SERVICE at 5:00 p.m. at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Monday, November 25th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post #1. The family suggests memorials to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.
