In Loving Memory Of Albert H. Gillespie Memorial Service 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2011 Branson Cemetery – Loveland, Iowa Officiating Pastor Nathan Slaughter Albert H. Gillespie, age 80, passed away at Community Memorial Hospital on June 18, 2011. Albert was born in Pitcher, Oklahoma on December 1, 1930 to Henry and Lucinda (Tensmeyer) Gillespie. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict from 1950 to 1954. Albert married Marjorie Swanger in August, 1954. To this union, they were blessed with three sons. Albert was a truck driver for Watson Bros. and Roadway before retiring in 1997. Survivors include his sons, Gail, Robert and Martin Gillespie; grandchildren, Dawn, Chris, Katie, David, Derrick and Tonya; brother, Larry and sister, Velda. Albert was preceded in death by his parents; Henry and Lucinda Gillespie; wife, Marge; and his brothers Calvin and Edward. No visitation or viewing will be held. Military rites conducted by Julius F.
