Alfred E. “Al Bonne
Al was born on November 16, 1939 in David City, NE to the late Marie and Charles Bonne. He graduated from David City High School in 1957 and proudly served his country in the Navy from 1958 to 1962. While in the Navy, he renewed his high school friendship with Donna Muehlich, and they were married on December 31, 1960. Upon discharge from the Navy, Al began a life-long career as a purchasing agent, first for Ocoma Foods in Omaha, and later for the Trenton Foods Company in Trenton, MO. Al retired in 1996, and soon after, he and Dona moved to Kearney, MO. Al and Donna were married for 46 years before her death in 2006. In 2014, Al returned to live in Omaha, where he went to his final rest on September 9, 2017.
Al was pre-deceased by his parents; his wife; two brothers, Charles and Wesley; his sister, Betty Schaf and husband Richard; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Arlene and Howard Muehlich; and his brother-in-law, Doug Muehlich and wife, Dolly. He is survived by his brother, Harold Bonne and wife Shirley of Cortland, NE; sister-in-law, Linda Bonne of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Denise Waller and husband, Rex of Omaha; nieces and nephews; many friends.
SERVICES Wednesday, September 13th at 10:30am at Christ United Methodist Church, 1922 Colfax St. in Schuyler, NE. Graveside Service with military honors will be at Schuyler Cemetery.
