Preceded in death by parents, Emma and Alfred N. Skar; sister, Mary Alice Bachman. Survived by wife, JoAnn “Joanie” Skar; children: Julie Micek (Leon) and A. J. Skar (Kimberly); five grandchildren: Zach, Luke and Nick Skar, Owen and Ben 
Micek; brother, Bernard Skar (Gretchen); nieces and nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
VISITATION Thursday, June 8th from 3pm to 5pm, and 6pm to 7:30pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7:30pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Friday, June 9th at 10am, Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military honors by Benson VFW Post 2503. Memorials are suggested to: Holy Cross Church; Paralyzed Veterans of America, Great Plains Chapter; or charity of your choice.
