Karen and I are very sorry to hear of Al’s passing. He was a mentor to me as a child and into my adult years. He was not only my uncle but a very close admired friend. He was an extremely talented person especially in his wood carving. He was a gentle man who loved his life, his family and his church. We will greatly miss him for so many reasons. Our hearts and prayers go out to Pat as well as to Kevin and John’s families.
Rest in peace Al, we will never forget you and we will always love you.

Always enjoyed visiting Al and Pat. They were a great couple, and you could tell they loved and respected each other very much. Al talked about his time in the service, which was very interesting! We will miss Al and his kind manner. God Bless Al, Pat, Kevin and John’s families.

    Dear Pat and family,
Nancy and I are sorry to hear about your loss of a wonderful husband, and father. We have many happy memories of our time as neighbors on S 113th Ave Circle. A talented and generous man who was always available to help us with household repairs. We are thankful for his engineering skills and labor in the construction of a major wall across our back yard and in the installation of a sprinkler system. John especially enjoyed all of the conversations they had over the years we were neighbors. Our girls have crucifixes they cherish that Al carved for their weddings. At Christmas the Santa Claus figure Al carved for us is displayed in a prominent spot in our home. You and your family will always be remembered in our thoughts and prayers..
    God Bless,
    John and Nancy Thurmond
