Alfred N. DuPree

DuPree, Alfred N. “Al” Nov 8, 1919 – Dec 31, 2012 Age 93. Proud WWII veteran; 37-year OPPD employee, retired storeroom foreman. Born in St. Joseph, MO to Mabel and Joseph DuPree. Preceded in death by daughter, Marcia Heywood; brothers: Arthur, Frank, Raymond and Orville. Survived by wife, Lucille “Ush” (Simoens) DuPree; daughters, Connie Carlson (Rich) of Bellevue, NE, and Pam Cermak (John); sons, Craig DuPree and Marty DuPree (Rhonda); 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mildred Cain, Hazel Sanborn, and Gladys Freeman; brothers, Lloyd DuPree and Harvey DuPree. Member: American Legion, VFW, OPPD High Voltage Club, and Belgian American Society. The family will receive friends Friday, January 4, 4pm to 7pm at Korisko-Larkin-Staskiewicz Chapel, 5108 “F” St., with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the chapel. SERVICES Saturday, January 5, 9:30am, Korisko-Larkin-Staskiewicz Chapel to St. Mary Catholic Church, 3529 “Q” St. for MASS at 10am. Interment, St. John Cemetery in Bellevue with military rites by American Legion Post 331. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church.
