Born on February 21, 1940, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, left this precious earth on November 23, 2021.
Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Charlene; son, AJ Forrest (Kelly) of Keller, Texas; grandfather to Cole Forrest (KayLee) of Eugene Oregon; grandfather to Luke Forrest (Sarah), and great-grandfather to Warren of Keller, Texas; daughter, Leigh Forrest; grandchildren: Dahltan Malik, Keni Malik, and Kyle Malik of Omaha, Nebraska.
A man with many aliases including “King”, “Yafio”, and “Stump” by his longtime Omaha buddies but most importantly remembered as Al, Dad, and Papa to the family that he loved so dearly. Known to all as a man of many talents including his love for the piano and playing golf at The Field Club of Omaha, he entertained us all. He will now be entertaining all and sipping a PBR with his Omaha buddies.
He is and will forever be remembered by the many people he loved and touched.

Many fond memories of golfing and partying with the “king” and group. He was always upbeat and fun to be around even when taking my money after golf outings. God’s blessings to his loved ones!

Oh Charlene and family my heart breaks for you all and the loss of a great man. I just read this and I am at a, loss for words. The hardest part comes now and the missing him. I have so many fond memories of AL. Your new journey down this road in life will be filled with all the memories you share.. I’m in Mexico and praying for you all to find some peace with your loss.
