Alyce Joann Megel
December 18, 1934 – August 5, 2021
Alyce Joann Megel was born in Papillion, Nebraska on December 18, 1934. She was the youngest daughter of Fred W. Megel and Lula A. (Rozmarin) Megel. Alyce died in Papillion on August 5, 2021.
Alyce attended Sacred Heart School and Papillion High School. Following graduation Alyce had a career as an administrative employee for the U.S. Government. Throughout her career she held positions in Denver, Colorado; Seattle, Washington; and Europe. Alyce also traveled extensively throughout her lifetime. She retired in 2000 and returned to the Omaha area.
Alyce was preceded in death by her parents, Lula and Fred Megel; her brother, Robert Megel of Papillion; her sisters, Lorraine Haug Felker of Papillion and Patricia Monson of Denver. Alyce is survived by her sister, Jeannine Kracher of Papillion, as well as many nieces and nephews.
