March 1, 1983 – January 23, 2023

Anders Steen Christensen (Omaha, NE) was born on March 1, 1983, and he passed away January 23, 2023. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Axel & Anne Christensen, and Anchor & Janet Sorensen. He is survived by his children: Steen, Adeline, and Soren Christensen; parents John & Janis Christensen; and brothers, Erik Christensen and Dana Christensen (Jacqueline Wilber). He is also survived by countless wrestlers, students, and friends whom he counted as family.

To honor his memory, we are holding a celebration of his life on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 4pm at Salem Baptist Church, 3131 Lake Street, Omaha NE, 68111. We invite anyone who knew him to attend and remember him.     Wow. I just found this obituary going through the Omaha World Herald. So sorry to hear about the family’s loss. I worked with Anders for a couple of summers at UNO Summerworks. He was so supportive and helpful to all of the youth participating in the program. Not to mention very patient with me. Very sorry and sad to hear this news. Prayers, thoughts, and condolences to the Christensen family.
