We are heartbroken over the loss of my great uncle. He was a kind, steady presence in our family, and he’ll be deeply missed. All my love to Greg and the whole family — I hope you feel surrounded by support and comfort as you navigate this loss. Holding you all close in my thoughts.
Thank you, Frank. We’re blessed with a wonderful family legacy.
My condolences and prayers to the family of Andy Vassios. Andy was a hero to me growing up at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church. He was the one who taught me to sing in the choir. He was the one who advised me about career choices, and he was always very positive and supportive of me. I wish he would’ve stayed at the church because I have missed him dearly after he left. He was an asset that we could never replace. We have never been able to replace him at St. John’s.
Thank you, Van. We’re so thankful for the Greek community in Omaha and the love and care shown to our dad for so many years.
Andy was a first class gentleman. I played golf with Andy many years. He was a good golfer! He helped many people and was a first class, nice guy. He will be greatly missed.
I have many fond memories of Andy and the kindness of the Vassios family. Please accept my sincerest condolences. May his memory be a blessing. Memory Eternal.
