Ann (Petriw) Wojcichowskyj

Ann (Petriw) Wojcichowskyj, aged 97, passed away peacefully at her home in Omaha, NE on Friday, October 4, 2024. Ann was born on February 12, 1927, in Jaworiwka, Ukraine, to Anna and George Petriw. Ann immigrated to the United States in 1952, and became a proud citizen in 1959.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton Wojcichowskyj,on November 19, 1972; her middle daughter, Irene Wigington on August 26, 2019. Survivors include her two daughters, Juliann (Charles) Bliese of Olathe, KS and Mary Jane (Mika) Wojcichowskyj of Omaha, NE; son-in-law, Donald Wigington of Omaha, NE; five grandchildren: Charley Bliese of Kansas City, KS, LeeAnn Wigington of Omaha, NE, Kristen (Shawn) Winquest of Omaha, NE, Larissa (Jason) Kuhn of Hays, KS, Jacob Bliese (Patrick) of San Diego, CA; three great-grandchildren: Jordan Winquest of Omaha, NE, Nicholas Winquest of Omaha, NE, and Jaxon Kuhn of Hays, KS.
VISITATION: Thursday, October 10, 2024, 5:00pm to 7:00pm, West Center Chapel, 7805 West Center Road, followed by PANAKHYDA at 7:00pm. SERVICES: Friday, October 11, 2024, at 9:00am, beginning at the West Center Chapel to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2301 S. 16th St. for Divine Liturgy at 10:00am. Interment, St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery, 5228 South 46th Street.
Memorials will be directed by the family.
