Anne Christine Dennis

November 1, 1947 – March 14, 2025.

Anne Christine Dennis was born November 1, 1947, to Phillip and Margaret (McCoy) Dennis. She passed away peacefully in her sleep after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Christine  was a proud graduate of Kuemper Catholic High School in Carroll, Iowa,and St. Catherine’s School of Nursing.

She was an accomplished violinist who played with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra.

Christine spent her working career as a lifelong member of the medical community in Nebraska and Texas as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist from 1976 until her retirement in 2021.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Margaret;  brother, Roger; niece, Cara Riley, great-niece, Megan Lynch, and great-nephew, Samuel Steele; sister-in-law, Ellen Dennis; and brother-in-law, Donald Laubach.

She is survived by many friends and colleagues; her sisters, Mary Riley and Patricia Scheer, and brother, David Dennis; her beloved Grandchildren: Chelsea, Philip, Thomas, Colin, Brian, and Daniel; and her loving sons, Robert P. Callahan of Houston, Texas, and Matthew D. Callahan, of Omaha, Nebraska.

She was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed by all.

VISITATION: Friday, March 28, 2025, at 10:00AM followed by FUNERAL SERVICE with NEBRASKA NURSE HONOR GUARD PRESENTATION at 10:30AM, West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Road, Omaha.  GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friday, March 28th at 2:30pm at Harlan, Iowa Cemetery.

Lunch at the West Center Chapel will follow the Funeral Service.
