TAYLOR, Anne Corrinne Apr 26, 1934 Oct 15, 2014 Omaha, NE – Anne Corrinne Taylor, age 80, died on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, after a brutal battle with dementia. Born on April 26, 1934, Anne was raised on a small farm in Platte County, near Lindsay, NE. After college, she became a teacher, first in a one room country school house and then at St. Pius X in Omaha. She married and raised her family in the Millard area. She went on to become the grandmother of 11, whom she loved and adored. Anne enjoyed walking her dog, Minnie, traveling with family, antiquing, and reading. She was an avid lifetime Cubs fan. She was witty, feisty, energetic, hard-working and loyal. She touched many lives with these qualities and instilled them in her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Charlotte Taylor of St. Edward, NE, she is survived by her siblings: Kathleen (Marv) Maher of Omaha, NE, Connie Curran of San Diego, CA, Larry (Bonnie) Taylor of Columbus, NE, and Sharon (Chuck/AH) of Lincoln, NE. Survivors also include her daughters: Mary Zimmer of Austin, TX, Julie (Robert) Parker of Hastings, NE and Jodi Caniglia (Mark Van Goethen) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and her newest family members at Esprit Whispering Ridge Senior Living Center. In lieu of flowers and donations, please take time to volunteer at a memory care facility in your area. That would make mom happy. Best. Mom. Ever. Private burial at a later date.
