In Loving Memory Of Annette E. Kennedy Cox October 11, 1933 February 21, 2010 Annette E. (Kennedy) Cox), 76, of Missouri Valley passed away February 21 at home. Born October 11, 1933, in Missouri Valley, Iowa to Dr. Maurice J. Kennedy (Magnolia) and Ruby Irene Kennedy (Johnson) (Ragland Township). Annette Graduated from Missouri Valley high school in 1950 and earned a bachelors degree in education from Dana College and was a long-time school teacher. In 1958 she married Claude L. Cox in Missouri Valley where they ran the Tamarack Bowl until 1996. Preceded in death by parents; husband Claude L.; siblings: Larry, Virginia, Jim, Joanne, Gene. Survived by sister Patricia Pettit of Lake Forrest, CA; children: Kristopher C. Cox, James P. Cox and wife Hannah, Michael J. Cox all of Missouri Valley, and Carrie J. Yeager (Cox) and husband Robert of Joshua Tree, CA. Grandchildren: Kimberly, Nicholas, Hunter, and Cali. Visitation with family will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service Sunday. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley with Pastor Nathan Slaughter officiating. The Celebration of Life Service will continue at the Eagles Club in Missouri Valley where a luncheon has been prepared, all are invited.
