Antonio M. Ayala

AYALA, Antonio M. May 30, 1938 – Oct 16, 2014 Antonio “Tony” grew up in south Omaha, Nebraska. He retired after 28 years as an Omaha Police Officer. He will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandpa, uncle, brother, and friend. He is preceded in death by parents; one sister, Margaret; four brothers: Daniel, Chris, Ignacio and Lino; daughter (Karen Ayala-Senter). Tony is survived by his wife, Cheryl; sons: Tony Ayala, Art Ayala, and Scott Kizer (Christy); daughters, Veronica Wilcox (Scott), and Kami Kizer. Antonio is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many close friends. The family will receive friends Monday, October 20th from 5pm to 7pm, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm, all at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Tuesday, October 21st at 9:30am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Interment, St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery with military rites by Benson VFW Post 2503 and Police Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or charity of your choice.
