Ardyce J. Meyer age 86, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away August 17, 2012 at Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Ardyce was born June 27, 1926 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to William and Hazel (Whiteman) Coyle. Ardyce graduated from Missouri Valley High School, and she married Carl December 4, 1946 in Columbus, Nebraska. She worked at 24 hour Fitness Day Care in Omaha, Nebraska for twenty years. Carl passed away August 27, 1996. Ardyce loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and Shawn her dog. Ardyce was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church. Ardyce was preceded in death by her parents William and Hazel (Whiteman) Coyle; husband Carl, brothers; Harold Coyle and Frank Coyle. Survivors include her children; Larry Meyer and wife Nancy of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Randy Meyer and friend Vicki Schroder of Woodbine, Iowa; grandchildren; Dawn Jenness and husband Marty; Karen Wildhagen; David Meyer and wife Sarah; Alex Meyer, Blake Meyer, Jennifer Archer and husband Jeff; great grandchildren; Jenna, Jonathan, Belle, Jocelyn, Faith, Paydon, Audra, Alex and Tommy. sister in law; Bev Coyle. Visitation with family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday with a Wake Service at 6:00 p.m. at Hennessey Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley.
