Arthur Steven Rivera, 63 of Omaha Nebraska passed away on November 03, 2023. He was born on February 16, 1960, to Aurelio and Lucile (Orosco) Rivera in Omaha Nebraska.

Arthur had a great deal of love for his God Mother, Connie Garza. He was never without a cat or two. He would lend a helping hand anytime he could. He was always smiling and laughing when around those, he was most comfortable with. More importantly, Arthur had a great deal of pride serving his country and spent 20 years of his life doing so. Thank you for your service.

Arthur is survived by his sister Cathy Mann, Linda Smith Raymond (Becki) Rivera, John Rivera, Theresa (Doug) Berry, five nieces and 9 nephews. Preceding him in death are his dad, Aurelio Rivera, mother, Lucile Rivera, brother, James Rivera, sister, Beatrice Duff, brother in laws, Stephen Duff, Martin Mann and Brad Smith.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 29th from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at West Center Chapel.

Funeral: Thursday, November 30th, 10:30AM at West Center Chapel

Interment: Omaha National Cemetery with full military honors.

    my condolences to the entire family. Cousin Arthur will be missed so much. .we used to call every chance we had and I know he was very busy. Always fun to laugh with him. He’s a very devout believer .He was so thoughtful .that he took time out to reach out to my parents even at the distance that he did live, I’m sure your family is it a great loss . My prayer for each of you as you feel the loss in his absence … Rest in peace
