Audrey Haecker
September 20, 1960 – November 24, 2020
Audrey is survived by her parents, Judy and George Haecker of Omaha; brothers, Adam and Alex; aunt, Debbie Wyatt; friend, Michael; and numerous cousins and family members.
Audrey was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and, after a number of moves around the country, settled in Omaha in 1968 with her parents. She attended Westside High School and spent most of her adult life in child care, being a Nanny for many Omaha families up to the time of her death.
One of her activities was her crafts, making painted pots, cards and knitted blankets which she sold at art fairs. She loved to travel, going to the Caribbean twice, and took many road trips throughout the Midwest. And she loved her cats, which provided great comfort.
She was a kind and gentle person, always did her best and will be remembered and missed with much love by all who knew her.
No current services are planned but memorials may be directed to the Nebraska Humane Society.

All my sympathy,so sorry for your loss.
Our thoughts are with you. Audrey and Michael were friends of ours. We shared some good times together and always appreciated Audrey’s stabilizing influence on Michael.. She was truly a very caring individual and will truly be missed.
So sorry to hear about Audrey’s passing. Please know that the entire Haecker family is in our prayers and thoughts. This may sound odd, but the Haecker family I’ve known for 35+ years and that has always been so good to me will get through this. May God bless you all.
Our sincere sympathies to you all. You never expect to have a child die before you. We are so sorry. May God bring you peace.
I was sad to hear of Audrey’s passing today. Sincere condolences in you loss, George and Judy. I hope that she continues to live on in spirit and the memories of your life together will bring you joy. God bless you all.
