Audrey June Heavrin

December 4, 1930 – September 1, 2018

Preceded in death by brother, Orville Spohn (Louise); sister, Shirley Hall (Kenneth); sister-in-law, Julie Spohn.  Survived by loving soul mate, John E. Peterson; children: Joyce A. Voorhees, Deborah L. Voorhees (Steven), and Brian K. Heavrin (Jennifer Nickisch); four grandchildren and spouses: Scott Voorhees (Felicia), Corinne Beymer (Steven), Kurt Voorhees (Camille), and Nicholas Voorhees (Sara); four great-grandchildren: Carter, Grace, Harrison, and Annabelle Voorhees; brother, Frank Spohn; sisters, Beverly Elgan and Donna McLaughlin (Howard).  Audrey was an accomplished pilot, snow skier, scuba diver, and excellent artist.

VISITATION: Sunday, September 9th from 3pm to 5pm at the West Center Chapel.  SERVICES: Monday, September 10th at 11am at First United Methodist Church, 7020 Cass St.  Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Heart Association or First United Methodist Church.

    My sincere prayers to Audrey’s family on her passing. I am the youngest of Bonnie Prettyman’s sons (she would have known me as “Curt”) and she was one of mom’s closest friends for life.
