What a loss, we were taken back by the news of cousin Auggie’s passing. Maxine and I are sending love to our family in Omaha. When Maxine and I would go to Omaha; cousin Auggie would take the time and show us around. Thank you cousin Auggie for your service to our country.

It was real nice to meet you finally and to share your catfish dinner, and the many laughs we shared. You will be missed. Check on us from time to time, the kind of soul we all love🙏🏽🤍Sorry we didn’t get to make that Frybread you wanted to learn how to make 😓

To my family Rachael, Steve and family my heart felt condolences. I would like to share this poem that keeps Gus in my heart. I believe the same for you.

    Memories by Louise Bailey
I feel a warmth around me,
Like your presence is so near.
And I close my eyes to visualize
Your face when you were here.
I endure the times we spent together,
and they are locked inside my heart
As long as I have those memories
    we will never be apart.
Even though we cannot speak anymore,
    my voice is always there
because every night before I sleep,
I have you in my prayer.
