Barbara E. Wilcoxen, age 74, of Logan, Iowa passed away August 28, 2013 at Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa. Barbara was born October 17, 1938 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to James and Gladys (Smith) Axtell. Barbara graduated from Missouri Valley High School. She worked for banks for many years, worked at Crossroads of Western Iowa. Barbara married her first husband Harry Andersen, March 6, 1959 Harry passed away October 6, 2000. On November 20, 1991 Barbara married Lee Wilcoxen and he passed away in 2006. Barbara collected frogs, enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and car races and making packages to send to the troops. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Harry Andersen and Lee Wilcoxen; daughter; Vicki Andersen; son; John Andersen and brother; Robert Lyle Axtell. Survivors include her daughter in law: Kimberly Andersen, grandchildren: Joshua Amend, Mariah Andersen, Chad Andersen; two great grandchildren: Kodie Andersen, Madison Amend; daughter in law: Shelley Miller; step children: Tony Miller Sr., Leann Eggers, Bill Wilcoxen, Cheri Green, Debbie Snipes, Rick Wilcoxen.
