It is with sadness that I write this tribute for a wonderful woman, Barb Cottone. I have known Barb for over 20 years. Barb’s children and grandson are tremendously mourning the unexpected death of Barb. Anyone who knew Barb will agree with what I am about to say. Barb was a kind and caring woman, and she was always positive. Every Fourth of July Lou and Barb would open their house to many. A celebration would take place with great food, visiting and ultimately watching the fireworks with their guests.
It was less than a year ago that Lou died. Barb died on February 11, which was their wedding anniversary. I believe that they were rejoined in heaven to celebrate their anniversary.
I promise you, Renae, Ryan, Randy and Eric, as heavy as your hearts are feeling today, and probably for a while to come, one day you will be thinking of her, and instead of tears, a smile will come over your face. Your memories will always be there!

I lived with Barb and Lou for about 5 years, when together with their son Eric. She was like a mom to me. I loved her so much. She was the kindest most gentle, loving soul. I dont know one person who didn’t love her. I will miss her. May God hold you all in his arms and shower you with his Grace to comfort you. I love you all. God Bless.
