Preceded in death by husband, Leo; son, Jason Von Tersch; mother, Thelma Maher. Survived by daughter, Jennifer Schultz (Chris); granddaughter, Kaila Schultz; stepfather, Gerald Maher; best friend, Jane Hlavac (Don).
VIGIL SERVICE: Wednesday, September 19th at 7pm at the West Center Chapel, with family receiving friends from 6pm to 7pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Thursday, September 20th at 10:30am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 5801 Oak Hills Drive. Interment: Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Chris and family my heartfelt condolences to you during this difficult time I know what it’s like to take care of an older person in your home as my mother lived with us for about 16 years and then passed away at 94 after about a year-and-a-half in a nursing home you guys are Saints to take care of your mother and mother-in-law and I wish you well during this time

I have the nicest memories of your Mom, she was always calm and sweet and immensely kind.

My Uncle Gerald never communicated this to me. My condolences to you and your family. We all loved Aunt Thelma very much and missed her after they moved to Omaha.
