I donated platelets at the Red Cross with Julien for years. When he received a cake for his 100th donation, he turned to a nervous new donor in the next bed and said, ” if you survive the first time, they give you a cake.”
Got to know Barbara too and enjoyed a tour of their beautiful home.
A wonderful couple and true patriots. My condolences to the family.

Dear Family, please accept my prayers and sympathy at the death of your beloved Barbara. May God be most generous now with his blessings of peace and happiness to Barbara. We entrust her to our gracious and compassionate God. I will offer Mass for Barbara. I pray also for Jesus and Mary to bring all of you comfort and strength in this time of death and loss.
You all know Barbara was a great Lady. I am grateful I knew her through our Marianist Affiliates. She and your dear Dad Julien were so faithful in their Marianist commitment, and they were stout supporters of Gross Catholic. with loving care and promise of prayers, Father Al

So sorry for your loss, guys! Loved working with Julien and Dick, golfing with Tom, and lunching with Jim and his wife at Omaha Street School. Your parents raised first class kids!
