Preceded in death by husband, Charles J. Survived by daughter, Dee Solberg (Scott); sons, Dennis (Marilyn) and Ron; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 20th from 2pm to 4pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by MEMORIAL SERVICE at 4pm. Private Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials to Cottey College or Nebraska Humane Society.

To Barbara’s family: I had the great pleasure of rug hooking with Barbara when I first started. We were in a class together. I marveled at the paintings she had done of beautiful pansies. She was rug hooking chair pads of the pansies. She was so talented and a lovely, beautiful woman. I am so glad I knew her.
Thanks so much for your condolences. Rug hooking was such a passion and outlet for her artistic talents. It also introduced her to many lovely people she wouldn’t have otherwise met, like you.
I met Barbara and Chuck while they were patients in my husband’s dental office. A loving and devoted couple. .
Barbara taught me rug making and and was a great friend and Mentor. .
Her home was a treasure of her beautiful work. .Always teaching many of us.
