Beatrice L. Suchy
November 15, 1918 – February 24, 2024
Beatrice Sedlak Suchy is the seventh child out of ten children of Frank and Mary Sedlak. Her parents were farmers. She grew up in a two story house built in 1905 by her dad and his cousin.
At age 15, she met Lawrence Suchy. He was a sharp dresser, good looking and loved to dance. She and Lawrence got married at Saint Patricks church in Omaha Nebraska on April 20, 1940. They were married on her parents 35th wedding anniversary.
Being Lawrence had three children. Larry, who passed away at age 6 months, Carol and Cheryl. They bought their Homestead on 17th and center in Omaha.
She enjoyed canning, baking, cooking, gardening, playing bingo, going to the casino, and most of all her family. She enjoyed gatherings with her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews at every occasion.
God blessed us with a special lady named Beatrice. She was kindhearted, hard-working, and fun loving. A great example of many traits. She lived her life well, loved by her entire family. She, indeed, was a blessing to each and everyone of us. She will always be our Queen Bea.
