I am incredibly sorry for your loss Greg & Debbie. I lived with Ben for a short time, and while he had his demons, he was one of the kindest and most generous people I’ve ever been lucky enough to know. He had such a laid back and positive demeanor and your description of Ben being tender hearted couldn’t be more accurate. I will forever be grateful for my time with him and hope that the love of family and friends will help to comfort and strengthen you in the days ahead.
I am so, so sad and I grieve with you and for you! Your Ben was a sweet kid, always kind and always respectful when I was around him. Your love for him was so apparent! He couldn’t have had more supportive and loving parents! Lifting you all in prayer! Here for you!!
Greg and Debbie , I am so sorry for your loss. I remember all the fun hockey games and how smooth of a skater Ben was. He always had a smile on his face and so kind. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Barb Herting
Dearest Greg and Debbie,
My heart is grieving fiercely for your family. I have such fond memories of our days at church together when our children were young. Every Christmas I think of the time when we took Ben and Bryce with us to help a needy family. Now our sons are together in Heaven. Eleven years ago you attended the funeral of Bryce, and I was so blessed to see you. I think of your family often. If I can be there for you in any way please let me know. There are no words to express my sympathy for your unimaginable loss. You are loved!
Greg & Debbie, Words cannot express my profound sadness for the loss of your son, Ben. While it’s been a number of years since we (all) shared a bench at the ice rink, I recall fondly the blonde haired young man that ‘never said a word’ but was gifted with so much talent. He is one of those lights that shined brighter than most; probably why our savior wanted him back so quickly. My most sincere condolences to you & Sam.
This world lost a Warrior love ya brother. I will see you in Vahala.

Iam so very sorry for your loss. I am deeply grieved and I hope in your deep faith you can find the strength to carry on his memories. May Jesus wrap his arms around all of you.
Ben, my friend. You are one of the greats. Everyone who knew you is better because of it. I can think of so many people who I already know are too shocked to think and too devastated to cry, including myself. I’ll never forget the good times, brother. Rest in Peace.
To Ben’s family- Coming from a close friend of his.. he always loved you guys and talked about all of you. He was proud and grateful for you. He always did the decent thing even when no one was looking.
