Berniece Agnes Adams

Berniece Agnes Adams

March 19, 1928 – May 17, 2024

To know her is to love her. The angels carried Berniece Adams home on May 17, 2024, in the presence of loved ones. The ripples of her love will be forever felt through her children, family, and friends.

Berniece was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, of 60 years and her daughter, Lynne Olson. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Koperski; her children Susan, Bill Jr (Espy), John (Patti), Michael, Mary (Gary), Tim (Mara), and Jackie; 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Berniece was born on March 19, 1928, on a farm in Comstock, Nebraska. She was a country girl at heart and enjoyed the simple things in life. After graduating from high school, she moved to Omaha to attend the Commercial Extension School of Commerce. Through her next-door neighbor, she met the love of her life, Bill. They were married on May 17, 1947, and settled in Omaha. Her full-time job was bringing up eight children. Her family was her life.
Through all the trials and tribulations of life, her faith remained strong. Berniece was a long-time member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church and St Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church communities. The Renew prayer group through Holy Cross with several ladies was not only a spiritual connection but a gift of a long- lasting friendship over several decades.
Her unconditional love for her family and friends was and will be never ending. Her love is represented by the colors of the rainbow or prism. Anytime you see the colors, her love is there. Berniece lives in each of us.
