Betsy and I go WAY back to when we were 18, working at House Of Pies. We were roommates countless times, and stayed besties until I moved to Florida in 1987. I loved Betsy like a sister and talked to her often. Sometimes daily, and sometimes early in the morning. Betsy is at peace now, with The Lord. Until we meet up again, my friend! Love you!
You always had twinkles in your eyes. We shared some fun times. Wish there could be more . My thoughts for your journey over yonder that your troubles be less, Your blessing be more and nothing but happiness be yours forevermore. God’s blessings, sweet friend!
Betsy was such a blessing to me. She use to talk to me a lot about God when I was 20 years years old and she was 23. Betsy had a child-like heart and way of looking at things which we all loved. I know that she’s with her dad and loved ones now, and no longer feels the hurts she endured. Love you Betsy! Love Nancy
Betsy was a sweet, caring and trusted friend to so many people. She will be missed. Love to her family and all her friends.
I met Betsy in 1979, on our first day reporting for work at NWB working side by side. One or both of our parents (and some siblings) worked there also; and, as such there was some pressure to keep on the straight and narrow. As time marched on we became great friends. From the git-go, I just loved Betsy’s laid-back attitude and free spirit. She had the ability to find joy in the smallest of things. Her laughter was contagious and would light up any room even in darkest of days. She offered moral support to I, as many in hard pressed days. It didn’t stop there. Betsy loved unconditionally and I never saw a mean bone in her body. Betsy never spoke ill of anyone. Betsy had the warmest smile and twinkling eyes. We kind of lost touch after we left the phone company; but, I shall always cherish the fond memories of Betsy. My sympathy to Mrs. Jensen and family.
RIP Betsy

With sincere sympathy to Betsys’ family and friends.
I am saddened by the loss of my dear friend Betsy, she was like a sister to me. Together we made many good memories, and I really enjoyed it when she came to visit me in Virginia Beach. I know she enjoyed eating at the Johnny Rockets in McAuthur Mall. I am comforted by the hope that she has gone to join her father, our friends, Sue and Tim, in Heaven. I look forward to seeing them again when my time comes.
Deepest sympathy to Betsey’s family and friends. Jan and Linda – your reflections were beautiful and the service was lovely.
