Beverly J. Boecker
October 7, 1947 – August 22, 2020
Beverly Jane (Wacker) Boecker was born on October 7, 1947, in Wayne, NE to Clyde and Ruby Wacker. She was the third child born of their four children, her older sister Deanna Sharon (Marvin[deceased]), oldest brother Gerald Wacker [deceased] (Sharon[deceased]), and younger brother David Wacker. They lived on a farm near Carroll, NE. At the age of six, Bev and her family moved to Omaha, NE.
Beverly received a cosmetology license in August 1965. She worked as a hairdresser for nearly 40 years at which she retired from in January 2005. Along with her passion for hairdressing, Beverly helped operate her husband’s business and keep a happy home. She was an avid churchgoer thus becoming a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Bev had married Frank Petello [deceased] and out of this marriage were three children Robert Petello (daughters Aimee (Alec), Brianna, Abby, and Clarissa), Laura (Timothy, sons Oliver and Ian) Steyskal, and Matthew (Ayryal, daughter Janiya) Petello.
On September 27, 1991, Beverly married Ronald Boecker and gained a stepson, Justin (Danielle, sons Jaz and Harvey, daughters Maizy and Ava) Boecker.
Beverly was sent home to the Lord on August 22, 2020.
The Lord blessed Beverly Boecker immensely with tons of family and friends. She was the matriarch of this family, the pillar holding everything and everyone up, helping raise children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren; overseeing numerous family gatherings, from birthdays to weddings, Thanksgiving to Christmas, and Easter onto the Fourth of July. A home full of laughter was her pride and joy, welcoming all with a hug and a smile. For she had a tremendous heart full of care, appreciation, and a bit of what some would call “tough love”. Beverly J. Boecker will be deeply and wholeheartedly missed for she was the cornerstone amongst us all and will not be forgotten.
Bev is survived by her husband, Ron; her three children: Rob, Laura, and Matt; stepson, Justin; her mother, Ruby; sister, Deanna; brother, Dave; children-in-law: Tim, Danielle, and Ayryal; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Willie; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Clyde, and her brother, Gerald.
“Most of all [I thank] the Lord for my wonderful husband who has been such a blessing and wonderment [to me].” -Bev
