You will surely be missed Betty! You’re one of the nicest, sweetest people I ever had the pleasure to meet. I’m honored to have known you, and called you my friend. Until we meet again….

Please know that the sisters in Dubuque are praying for you these days. The Freking family was a pillar to St Mary Parish in Remsen. I taught at the high school and knew of their support for the parish and the school. God is rewarding Betty’s faithful service.

    To Bob and Betty’s family:
Betty was an exceptional person, lovable and kind and will be missed. A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, and through us, they live on. My heart and prayers go out to you and her family.

I have known Betty for almost 40 years ; she was my best friend, confidante, and fun loving buddy. I will so miss her bubbly personality, bright engaging smile, and her infectious laugh. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. I will need time to light up my own world with laughter, smiles, and new light in such a way as Betty has done for me and many others throughout her life. The lives of many people will be rather dark and sad for awhile on earth as our lives go on, and I know Betty is bringing much light and happiness to all the people in her life, with her everlasting bright smile and giggle in a wonderful pain free atmosphere up high above in that wonderful peaceful place called heaven. Knowing my sweet beloved friend, she is up there sending prayers and insight and comfort to all of us, to help us cope and smile with joy when thinking of all our great memories, as we continue our lives on earth. I will always have you in my heart and mind; Linda Logas

I only met Betty a couple of times but was impressed with what a sweet personality she had. I worked with her husband Bob for about 7 years. A truly nice man and it was so obvious that he loved his wife and family more than anything. I am wishing you all strength and peace in the days ahead. So sorry for your loss.

    Dear Bob and family
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Betty. She was a one and only. The mold was broken when she was born. Betty and I worked for DHS for many years. Enjoyed hearing her infectious laugh thru out the offices. Bob take care and we will pray for you.
