Betty M. Ruff, A.K.A. “Ruffles the Clown”
February 8, 1934 – January 24, 2019
Preceded in death by parents, Jefferson and Amanda Gannon; brothers: George, Fred, Bud, Robert, Jack, Tom, and Eddie Gannon; one sister, Joann Mull; son-in-law, Bob Howerter. Survived by husband of 65 years, Bob Ruff; daughters: Vicky Nelson (Don), Debbie Howerter, Kim Brown (Bob), and Rhonda Pattavina (Sam); nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Rosalie Lora; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 28th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. FUNERAL: Tuesday, January 29th at 10am at the West Center Chapel. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or American Legion Post #1.

I know it’s been a hard day. I’m sending hugs your way. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since I got the news. I know we are far away but we are with you. Aunt Betty’s picture was good to see in the obituary. I got a chuckle out of the part about Ruffles. She can still make us smile and laugh. I will be with you tomorrow. Know that you are all loved.
