Betty Ruth Goldstrom
Age 97
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away on Friday, September 8th at age 97. She was preceded in death by husband, Bernard; parents, Morris and Regina Schlanger, four siblings; and daughter-in-law, Kathi Goldstrom. She is survived by three sons: Jerry Goldstrom ( Rona Weiss), Mark Goldstrom (June Richards), and Larry Goldstrom (Carol), all of Omaha. She was the proud grandmother of Jeffrey Goldstrom (Donna), Stephanie Edheimer (Roger), Bradley Goldstrom (Yesenia), Benjamin Goldstrom (Erica Paulsen-Goldstrom), Jory Goldstrom, and Nikolai Maly. Betty had ten great-grandchildren.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14th at 1pm at Bikhor Cholim (Oak Hill) Cemetery, 1350 East Pierce St., Council Bluffs. Luncheon will follow at The Rose Blumkin Jewish Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Rose Blumkin Jewish Home, 333 So. 132nd St., Omaha NE 68154. The family will receive visitors at the home of Mark Goldstrom, 15823 Burt St., on Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
