“I believe that what we become depends on what our fathers teach us at odd moments. Not in the cacophony of a loud world, but more like the serenity of a quiet museum when they are not trying to teach us. We are formed by scraps of wisdom. And it is this wisdom that is clearly heard at the end, and by posterity.
The gift my father gave me every day of my life was he believed in me”. – Vikash Gangahar
“An entrepreneur by nature, my father was always looking for a “good deal”. More art than science, as I would observe over the course of many years. I reveled in his ability to find these gems as there was always a captivating story that ensued, often mimicking his comical nature. His strength to usurp an established life in India for the betterment of his family is a profile in courage. He was the protector, provider, and vanguard of our tribe. I will miss him dearly.” – Kabir Gangahar
CHAUTA: Thursday, March 17, at 4pm at Hindu Temple of Nebraska, 13010 Arbor Street.
