Billy H. Wohlers Jr.

William H. “Billy” Wohlers Jr. age, 61 of Beebeetown, Iowa passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Alegent Creighton Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska due to injuries received from a motor vehicle accident. He was born February 26, 1952 in Logan, Iowa to William H. and Audrey C. (Koenig) Wohlers. William was a 1970 graduate of Missouri Valley, High School. He raised cattle and was a member of the Harrison County Cattleman’s Association. He farmed the family farm in the Beebetown area for many years. Besides his family and friends, he loved his dodge trucks, had a lifelong passion for hunting, knew the best spots to find mushrooms, enjoyed listening to classic rock, and was known to play a practical joke or two. William was preceded in death by his: parents; brother Merle William Wohlers and brothers at heart, Ron Steenbock, Jerry Wellman, and Matt Gearhart. Survivors include his son Caleb and wife Rashelle of Beebeetown, Iowa sisters: Carol Dickens and husband Duane of San Clemente, California Jean Caddell of Logan, Iowa, Lori Burbridge and husband Chuck of Neola, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
