Peggy Louise Lawson Bradshaw Omaha, NE, age 92, passed away on October 8, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Gardner Gilmore Brad Bradshaw of Franklin, VA. She is survived by her two sons, Lt. Col. Barry L. Bradshaw, USAF (Ret.) and wife Brenda of Niceville, FL, and Lt. Col. Wayne C. Bradshaw, USAF (Ret.) and wife Vonda of Logan, IA; four grandchildren: Mark Bradshaw and wife Jamie of Omaha, Nebraska, Jennifer Bradshaw of Freeport, FL, Kelly Mitchell and husband Mitch of Omaha, and Kristina Bradshaw of Niceville, FL; two step-grandchildren, Ashley Hildreth and husband Dusty of Tampa, FL, and Garrett Zeising and wife Alex of Tucson, AZ; four great-grandchildren: Peyton, Kieran, Rhett, and Lauren. A native of Weldon, NC, Peggy graduated from that citys high school in 1941. She worked briefly with the Eastern Seaboard Railroad before marrying Brad and raising her two sons in Portsmouth, VA. Peggy followed her husbands career with Mobil Chemical to Richmond, VA in 1977. During that time she became active in many roles with Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church in Ashland, VA and volunteered for many years at Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond. Following her husbands death, she moved to Sunridge Village in Omaha. A PRAYER SERVICE will be held at Sunridge Village, 13410 Blondo, on Monday, October 12th at 7pm. Peggy will be laid to rest beside her husband in Signal Hill Cemetery just outside of Ashland, VA.
